For reporting dry weight to others in the report generated at the bottom of the page. You can anticipate concern over your data's usefulness by checking the Std% box when you know the fresh manicured weight and entered one quarter of it (25%) as your dried crop yield. Otherwise leave the box unchecked.
This in no way alters the dry weight you entered, or any calculations based on it. It simply characterizes the use of this standard in your report, to avoid conflicts over the weight of water. From this data others can easily find the fresh weight and then reinterpret dry weight to satisfy their own definition of dryness. For more about the often ambiguous drying process, and questions water content brings to the subject of dry weight, see the About Weights section of the site.
